Family Photos

I LOVE photos. I want every inch of my walls to be covered in them eventually, because I love the feeling of warmth and love it brings into a home. A week ago, a friend, Shannon Ritter, did a photo shoot of our family, and I am just in love with how they turned out. The kids were much more easy going than I had anticipated, and by the end of it Shannon and Andrew were the only ones sweating. I call that a success! Here are the rest of my favorites from last week. I'm sharing mostly for my mom and family who wants to see them all rather than only a few :)

Clara Beara Antny Zimmaman

How is this baby girl two already?!? It's killing me, but I am also loving watching her grow and learn everyday. Clara is our goofy girl. She loves making people laugh and she says everything is "silly". Clara is a momma's girl through and through and spends 60% of her time awake in my arms. She is very concerned with where Daddy is though, and she tells me multiple times each day whether he's at work, church, or on a trip. 

Clara is an adventurous little thing. She loves the rides at funland, the pool, the beach, the park, the trampoline, and any animal she comes across. She likes to be in my arms or outside on an adventure. She LOVES her friends and knows every single kid's name that we know. She prays for her friends every night without any prompting from me or Andrew <3

With her short hair and petite build, people often think she is still a baby and are amazed at how well she can talk. Clara uses full sentences the majority of the time, can count to 11, knows her birthday, and is learning the ABCs. She insists that her full name is "Clara Beara Antny Zimmaman" since Colten's middle name is Anthony, and it is so adorable! She makes us laugh every single day and she makes us all feel so loved. She gives away hugs and kisses all day long, and we love her to pieces!

Clara's favorite things are Paw Patrol, Chick Hicks, dogs, cats, and anything else that Colten loves. She follows him around all day, torturing him and taking his toys. It makes me so happy to see the love they have for each other. Happy 2nd birthday, Clara Marie, we are so grateful you are in our family!

Winter Blues.. and yellows!

Winter is.. special.  I love it because it's the season in which Christmas takes place. I love one good snow fall each year. I love drinking hot chocolate and eating the comfort foods of winter. I love wearing sweatpants. I love having a greater appreciation for spring, summer and fall. I love.... yup, that's about all I love about winter. Winter is challenging!  The wind blows constantly, kids are sick non stop,  we're trapped inside, and delaware simply does not have fun winter activities.
To stay happy this winter we have done lots of arts and crafts.

 We go to our library story time each week and to the indoor bounce house at least every other week.

 We babysit our friends, Juliet and Tucker 2 times a week.

We've gone to the temple, to chuckee cheese, to chicfila and to see the OC lights.

We have played in the snow and outside on any day that feels like it is in the 30s.

We have seen old friends and have made new friends.

We have read hundreds and hundreds of books and have eaten thousands and thousands of delicious calories.

Looking back on all the fun we've had, maybe winter isn't so bad afterall? 

I love my life.
